Open Media room at FOSDEM2026

We should've posted this way sooner, but better late than never.

We're helping organize the Open Media Devroom at FOSDEM2026. This year is extremely busy and it looks like FOSDEM2026 will be even grander than last time. Sadly that does mean that most rooms have to make do with less time, the good news however is that there's more devrooms and more subjects to see. We very much recommend visiting and not just for the Open media Devroom, FOSDEM truly is one of the more fun conferences/events to visit and to nerd out at.

You can find the Open Media Devroom on Saturday at K4601, last year it was pretty crowded so we recommend coming in early if you want to be sure to have a spot.

We'll be showing off our work on our Multiviewer which we have started naming a Compositor instead, as it has by now far outgrown its original purpose.

Install MistServer on Linux, including service unit.

Open http://localhost:4242 to configure your node, start streaming, and run clustering or load-testing tooling as needed.
